2021 JEWELRY TREND I'M LOVING: ACRYLIC -

I’m a sucker for a simple neutral outfit- it’s been a running joke on my Instagram that my entire wardrobe is white, brown, and green. While these outfits are easy to build and wear, sometimes I want to inject a bit of spice and interest into a look without having to branch into too much color to do so. For me, that’s where statement jewelry comes into play. Throwing on an interesting pair of earrings, a bold necklace, or even a cool stack of rings can really elevate and transform a neutral outfit.

Much as I have been investing in gold and gold vermeil pieces over the last few years, I also find they can get quite expensive. The acrylic jewelry trend is the perfect workaround for getting statement jewelry without paying a premium price tag. These pieces are made of resin or acrylic and so are generally cheaper to source material for, and can be moulded into a variety of funky, cool shapes and styles.
