Classic Winter Style
When I think of winter fashion, the outfit that I immediately imagine is turtleneck sweater, some kind of denim, thick coat and the ever loved ankle boot.
Over Black Friday weekend, Macy’s has these deals called Doorbusters which I just found out about- and I just realized I am probably the last person on earth to. Coats that originally cost 400 dollars come down to as low as 60, and the same with high end boots, sweaters, everything.
I picked up this coat and the sweater in these sales, and while it drained me, it’s not a purchase I at all regret.
The coat was on a 70 percent reduction and is by Calvin Klein. It’s honestly the warmest winter coat I have owned to date and it’s such good quality it will last me through the rest of the time I’m here. I also get so many compliments on it every time I wear it. The color is a light olive that I was surprised to find really looks nice on my skin tone.
The sweater was on a 60 percent reduction and is 100% cashmere. Yes fam, 100% cashmere. I got it in two colors, ivory and grey. It’s paper thin but is the warmest top I own. It’s thin enough that it doesn’t create uncomfortable bulk under your jacket, and also warm enough that you don’t need to layer other things underneath it. Amazingly, because it’s so thin that also means that when you’re indoors and in a heated space, it’s not uncomfortable. I swear it’s magical.
Looks good on you?
thank youu
