How To Style White Button Down Shirts for Women

White tops in general are my favorite closet staple, but the white button down shirt is my most recommended piece to get for anyone looking to build their wardrobe as it is such a versatile piece.

I love that you can wear them for formal and casual situations; you can button them all the way or all the way down; tie them in the front; or even turn them into off-shoulder tops. For anyone looking for the first piece to get when revamping or beginning to build a wardrobe, I will always say find a solid white button down. Another great thing about these is that you can get them at such a wide range of price points and fabrics, that there really is one for everyone. I personally really like them in a soft cotton that’s light and breathable; or in a flat silk. They are the most gorgeous night out pieces when they are in a slightly off white color and in silk- you will feel like absolute luxury.
