How To Wear Red for Spring and Summer
Today’s post is all about how to wear red and I thought I should start with a PSA. The key to wearing anything is confidence and a sense of ease in your own skin. It translates so clearly when your clothes don’t make you feel like yourself. I know I’ve sometimes worn things I wasn’t comfortable in, and gone on to have an awful time at whatever event I was attending. Don’t do yourself and these hot fire red outfit ideas I’m about to share the injustice of a low self esteem. We’re wearing red- you simply cannot feel like anything other than Beyoncé.
This first outfit is definitely Instagram baddie motivated. I absolutely love camo joggers, and I think the infamous I AM GIA ones with the chain on them are everywhere for good reason. While they are definitely trendy at the moment, camo pants are also very much a classic piece to own, and will never go out of style. I felt like the red crop top paired over this shade of green for the joggers would really make the outfit pop. I went with the big tousled curly hair, a simple black bag and strappy heels to make the look a bit more feminine again. What do you think about this one?
This second red outfit is definitely more in line with my personal style. I love feminine pieces such as this gorgeous black slip dress, and I love how they look paired with more masculine pieces like this red structured blazer. The lines in the blazer will elongate your body and the long black dress with also give the illusion of a longer leaner body. Paired with the Balenciaga knife mules, a gold hoop handle bag and carefree hair, ugh I wish I owned everything in this one. What do you think of this how to wear red?
This third how to wear red idea is one I would 100% percent wear on a regular day. The red mini summer dress is an absolute closet staple, and I think paired with the Aquazzura pompom heels makes the most perfect summer brunch date outfit. As I mentioned in this post, basket bags are huge for spring summer and I thought this netted one would be a stunning bag option for this dress. The face earrings with the updo make the look a lot lighter and breezier for summer I feel. Let me know what you think.
