Lunch at Coco Lounge, Accra

I don’t eat out often, but the couple times I have, Coco Lounge has always come up as a top recommendation- and for good reason. It has a really nice ambience, the food is decent and decently priced- and did I mention it has one of my favorite outside spaces?

They have a good breakfast menu, and serve a decent range of mains- I always go for pasta plates because force of habit. I think their food is good- like a solid 8/10. You won’t hate what you get by a long stretch, but you might not be entirely blown away either. I got a pretty basic spaghetti al pomodoro this time and I do wish they had parmesan bowls to go with them. When I get pasta, I’m really just looking for an excuse to eat grated parmesan, you know?

I pulled up their full menu so you can see for yourself if you’d want to give it a try. A lot of people love the interior decor of Coco, and so go for that. It is really pretty, maybe like three more hanging lamps off looking like a blue and white themed souk, but I do like it. Coco Lounge Menu
