SEPHORA VIB SALE DISCOUNT CODES

The Sephora Beauty Insider sales event is one every makeup and skincare lover wants to keep on their radar. The sale allows Sephora Beauty Insiders of all tiers to get up to 20% off on all purchases. If you love high end beauty and are a regular shopper at Sephora, then you know Sephora never has sales. The beauty insider events are the only times in the year you can get a discount on sephora purchases. Sephora has three tiers to its beauty insider program – VIB Rouge (people who spend $1000 or more a year), VIB members (those who spend $350 a year) and Beauty Insiders (you simply sign up, this tier does not have a minimum requirement.) VIB Rouge members get 20% off with code HEYROUGE, VIB get 15% off with code HEYVIB and Beauty Insiders get 10% off with code HEYINSIDER. The Sale starts on April 26th for VIB Rouge members, and from May 2 to May 6 for VIB and Beauty Insiders.

To help you make the most of the sales, I have compiled some of my favorite tried and tested products that I think you would love so you can try them out now with the discount.

SEPHORA VIB SALE SKINCARE RECOMMENDATIONS

For skincare, I have been very vocal about how much I love the Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel. It’s a gentle, emollient cleanser which leaves my skin feeling clean but without drying it or leaving a filmy substance over it. I have been focusing more and more on supporting brands that put a lot of thought and work into the products they create and Dermalogica is one of those brands that I can trust to give products that do what they claim. I couldn’t recommend this cleanser more.

For toner, I have been using the Ole Henriksen Glow Toner. I wanted something with glycolic acid because I know that’s good for brightening and evening out the complexion. I bought this because a lot of bloggers I follow use this and it works wonders for them. I can’t say for certain that this has made a big difference on my skin but I thought to recommend it anyway because I have seen it work for other people.

I love a good serum, and I have been using the Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance serum for the last month. This product, together with the vinoperfect night cream, works to brighten the skin and even out complexion- this is my biggest skin concern aside dryness- and both these products leave me with a glow to my skin. My friends noticed it and complimented my skin a lot when i started using these soI know they were doing something.

In order to step up my hydration game I have been using the Eve Lom Time Retreat Essence before I apply my serums and creams, and I love this product. It is a touch pricey even for sephora so that discount will really come in handy. Essences are basically topical vitamins for your skin, and this one leaves me feeling plump and hydrated when i use it in the day and at night.

SEPHORA VIB SALE FOUNDATION RECOMMENDATIONS

For those who like a natural looking base, I highly recommend the Fenty foundation. This foundation will never look caked no matter how much you put on, and if your base is hydrated and primed properly for it, can give you a very beautiful skin like glow. The Becca Foundation is my recommendation for the people who love a full coverage situation. I usually mix a few drops of a face oil with this product to thin stout, but if you prefer full coverage foundations, you will not be disappointed with this one. I talk about how much I love the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation in several posts here on my blog, and I continue to recommend it for everyone. While this foundation is more suited to those with oilier skin types anyone can out this on and really love it. Depending on your skin type, you might want to make sure you have more or less moisturizing products in your skin prep, but if you hydrate accordingly this product is absolutely beautiful. You only need a little bit of it, and it gives full coverage without looking like you’re wearing makeup at all which is a  bit of a magical combination.

The Lancome Teint Idole foundation just feels like velvety luxury on the skin. It’s beautiful, skinlike and soft matte so it’s suitable for a variety of skin types. I especially recommend this if you don’t have any fine lines as I found it could settle into some of mine, otherwise I definitely recommend it for a skinlike finish.

I haven’t tried many stick foundations but the ABH stick foundation has been in my makeup bag for years at this point. This product is my skin tone in a stick, as you can see in this video when I put it on and it’s impossible to distinguish it from my actual skin. I recommend this for normal skin people who like a skin like finish to their foundation and who like to be able to get ready fairly quickly. A few swipes of this and im out the door, I also like to travel with this because I dont have to this about liquid limits or a glass bottle breaking in my luggage. The final foundation in recommend, is the Dior Skin Glow foundation. I don’t own this one, but I had a sample from Sephora. I fell in love with this the minute I put it on the back of my hand. I have been on the hunt for a glow foundation that was actually glowy and this one delivers. It’s absolutely radiant. If you’ve tried any radiance claiming foundations but found you still had to mix them with a highlighter product to get them to glow like you wanted, you will not have that issue with this foundation. The finish is absolutely stunning. I have it in my cart waiting for the sale to checkout.

My miscellaneous product recommendations will come as no surprise if you follow me on Instagram. I love the Lancome Monsieur Big mascara– it actually makes a difference with my lashes and gives them both length and volume. It doesn’t flake on me, and it reads as black rather than charcoal grey which ive found some mascaras can do on dark skin. Next, I recommend a cream or liquid blush. I find they make the skin look especially youthful and fresh. I have personally in my makeup collection got the Glossier and Trinny London ones but found the Inc.Redible ones on Sephora at an unbeatable price point and thought to recommend them. If you are dark skinned and have been searching for a lip liner that will actually show up on your lips and define them- look no further. I got this lipliner from a recommendation from Nyma Tang; it’s the Makeup Forever Liner in Dimensional Dark Brown– and I love it. I can finally actually see my lip definition when I put on a liner and it makes a world of difference in my nude lipsticks.

I hope these recommendations give you a decent place to start if you are thinking of using this sale to try out some new bits! Happy Shopping.
