THE BEST NUDE BIKINIS FOR SUMMER 2021
Ever since I saw this photo of Memu Conteh in the most perfect nude swimsuit, I have been on the hunt for similar nude bikinis for dark skin. There’s something a little risqué about it that I feel is the touch of the roaring 20’s we’re all trying to have this summer.
I, for one, cannot wait to be stretched out on a beach blanket with a book in hand, and every passerby wondering for the first few seconds they see me if they’ve landed on a nude beach in the south of France.
Let’s be real, bikinis are already flirting with nudity as it is, and it might seem intimidating to add on the extra layer of wearing one that’s flesh-toned.
I find, however, that wearing nude-colored bikinis makes me feel not just sexier, but also more in control of my image. I vowed this year not to make my clothing choices with the nagging voice of the male gaze telling me what was ‘too much’ or ‘asking for it’.
I want to wear things that make me feel not only like I’m in charge of my body, but also that I am constantly celebrating it. And right now, nude bikinis make me feel that way so I will be wearing them all summer long.
