What To Wear To Coachella 2018

Music festival season is creeping up on us, and in this post I’m helping with what to wear to Coachella 2018. As it is one of the most exciting festivals for fashion, likely only second to Afropunk, what to wear to Coachella is as important as how to get there and where to stay. Coachella is in a desert and pulls every college kid and young adult- who can afford it- from across the globe, so it’s hella hot to say the least. In putting these what to wear to Coachella 2018 outfits together, I definitely prioritized breezy outfits that would keep you ventilated, and shoes that wouldn’t kill your feet after all the walking you will definitely be doing. The outfit I would wear (photographed here) would be some combination of a basic crop top, high rise shorts and sneakers of some kind. While the framework seems pretty simple, the outfit can be accessorized to make it so much more interesting. Here, the addition of the crochet cover up and all the silver hardware in my jewelry to match the shorts, keeps the outfit cohesive. By pairing mainly silver accessories, I managed to keep the look light and carefree without going too boho. I prefer more simple and clean cuts so here I managed to keep the outfit very me, but also very Coachella 2018 ya feel me?
The second outfit is what my rendition of boho style would be. I fell in love with this beaded dress as soon as I saw it. It is absolutely gorgeous. The off shoulder detail is still very on trend, the fabric is super light and airy- I’m so in love. I thought it would look great with a brown or straw fedora, some boots and stacked on rings. I also added the option of a black fedora with a floral wrap dress and similar western style boots. I think Brixton make some absolutely stunning hats so be sure to check them out if you ever are in the market for a fedora.
This final what to wear to Coachella 2018 fit is for the casual girl who wants to look fly but look like she just rolled out of bed too. I pictured a band tee (it’d be so awesome if you could get a shirt for a band you’ll actually be watching) paired with a distressed mini skirt and platform sneakers. I added in the mini backpack because you deffo need somewhere to store all your things while moving around during Coachella, and the mini backpack is too cute to pass up. I’ve had a bag from Deux Lux, and they last for literal ever- the price is a bit higher end, but the one I have listed here is on sale. I think this is a super chic simple look.
